Yeah I've still never been clear on why we've named our blog after this phenomenon (or, for that matter, the trivia team a lot of us belong to). Are we being ironic? Embracing an outsider standpoint? Did we just think it was a funny? Eh, I guess it doesn't matter.
Honestly, I have no clue. It's maybe some kind of "double-reverse irony" or something.
I would be open to a name change...
No, I like the name. I just don't understand it.
I think I came up with it as a clown on Red Sox Nation.
